Benefit and Sales Consultant is responsible for providing a
thorough explanation of applicable benefit products at the time of
enrollment and assisting with the administration/enrollment of all
employee benefits, including medical, dental, vision, life
insurance, short-term and long-term disability, and worksite
products. Primary Duties and Responsibilities: The duties listed
below are some of the duties that may be assigned and may not
include all responsibilities that the person in this role may be
asked to perform. Incumbent may be required to perform other

job duties Provide a range of advice on selecting, purchasing and
utilizing benefits Ability to work independently as well as in a
team environment Interact with and educate potential and existing
clients in the products that best suit their needs Assess client
needs and recommend employee benefits, life and living benefits,
and assist clients in planning and implementation of product
solutions. Type and Scope of Supervisory Responsibilities: This
position has no supervision responsibilities. Requirements: Skills
and Qualifications: Ability to demonstrate proficiency in MS
Office, particularly excel Ability to work independently and on a
team Customer Service Skills Ability to learn and operate
enrollment software Work Experience Required for this Job: Two
years' experience in HR and/or benefits administration Current
licensed life and health insurance agent preferred; if not
licensed, must be able to obtain life and health licenses prior to
employment or within 60 days of employment Prior customer service
experience Education Required for this Job: High School Diploma or
equivalent Associate degree in HR or related field, or experience,
training/certification Bachelor's degree in human resources or
related field of study preferred Attendance Requirements: Daily
online attendance required in remote work environment during normal
business working hours In-person and/or hybrid attendance
occasionally required for company and/or team meetings The Company
reserves the right to require in-person attendance at the Company’s
worksite at any time. The Company also reserves the right to make
full-time attendance at the Company’s worksite an essential job
function for this position if attendance becomes necessary to
increase productivity, to develop teamwork, to conduct training, to
better address customer needs, or to accomplish any other valid
business goal. If full-time attendance requirements for this
position materially change, the Company will provide thirty (30)
days’ prior notice of the change. Position Type/Expected Hours of
Work: This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are
Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5 p.m. Occasional evening and
weekend work may be required as job duties demand. Core business
hours are 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. but the employee’s schedules are
at the discretion of the supervisor and dependent on the needs of
the business. Travel: Travel is primarily local during the business
day, although some out of area and overnight travel may be expected
Travel locations may vary and may include Local, out of area and
overnight assignments Must have a valid driver's license Physical
